I went out on the trash/laundry balcony one day last week with a handful of garbage and was startled to see giant clumps of snow falling outside the window. "OH!" I said. Then I went back inside and called Joe to tell him it was snowing. Then I grabbed my new camera and started taking leaning-out-the-window pictures. THEN, it dawned on me that I could take pictures of the snow WHILE I WAS IN THE SNOW. So I ran around the house getting all bundled up. Then I tried to put the camera in a Ziploc bag - I was going to cut a hole in the bag for the lens to go through - but I was in too much of a hurry, so I just took the camera into the elements unsheltered. It survived. Here are some of the 216 pictures I took. (With the quality my camera's set to, those 216 pictures added up to almost one gig of hard drive space. WOW.)
